FAQ

Is the data live?

No. It is static data checked against each source on 2026-11-06. Only the current UTC offset and daylight saving time are calculated at view time from your browser’s IANA time zone data.

Why do some items say “Not included”?

If we could not confirm an item with a government, public body or official tourism source, we leave it out instead of guessing. Please check local official information.

If the plug fits, can I use my device?

Not always: the voltage or frequency can still differ. Check the rating label (for example INPUT 100–240 V) and use a transformer if your device does not cover the local voltage.

Where do the voltage and plug details come from?

From IEC World Plugs by the International Electrotechnical Commission. IEC has retired that guide, so the tool uses the copy saved by the Internet Archive on 2026-08-16.

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • The tool covers 15 countries and regions. Every item was checked on 2026-11-06 and may have changed since; check the official websites of each country or region for the latest details.
  • Voltage, frequency and plug types are the representative values from the final (archived) IEC World Plugs guide. Actual sockets can differ by building or area.
  • Emergency numbers and driving side are shown only where an official source confirmed them (not included: emergency numbers for Vietnam and the Philippines; driving side for Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines).
  • Countries with several time zones show only the main ones, and the time difference uses the first zone listed for each country.
  • This page cannot call emergency services. In an emergency, also follow local instructions and those of your accommodation.
