FAQ
What is the difference between the modes?
Embedded mode saves only the image data inside the PDF, without text or drawings. Page mode turns each visible page into one picture.
Does quality drop?
Embedded JPEGs are saved byte-for-byte without loss. Other embedded images are saved as lossless PNG.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- Some embedded formats such as CCITT and JBIG2 cannot be extracted; the tool reports how many and why.
- Page conversion lowers the resolution automatically when a page would exceed browser limits (about 16 megapixels).
- Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
