FAQ

Which is cheaper: 500 g for 100 or 1 kg for 180?

Per 100 g, 500 g for 100 costs 20 and 1 kg for 180 costs 18, so the 1 kg pack is the better value.

Can I compare a product in g with one in ml?

No. Weight and volume are not converted because the relation differs from product to product. Compare products with the same kind of unit.

What is "Items in the pack" for?

For packs such as 3 × 200 g, the unit price is calculated from the total (600 g).

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • Only the prices and sizes you enter are used. Quality, expiry dates and whether you can use it all are not considered.
  • Weight, volume and count are never converted into each other (no guessing of density or serving size).
  • Only metric units (g, kg, ml, L) and pieces are supported; convert ounces or pounds first.
  • Unit prices are shown rounded; the ranking uses the unrounded values.
