FAQ

What are linear dimensions?

The length, width and height added together. Airlines and parcel services often use this sum: a 75 × 50 × 30 cm bag is 155 cm (about 61 in).

How is the volume calculated?

It is the box volume of the outside dimensions (1,000 cm³ = 1 liter). The usable capacity is smaller because of the shell, frame and shape.

Why are airline limits not built in?

Limits vary by airline, route, cabin and fare, and they change over time. Please check the current official rules and enter the limit yourself.
