FAQ
Will my photo definitely be accepted?
No. The tool only helps with size and head height. Always check the official rules for background, expression, glasses, shadows and how recent the photo must be.
Is my photo sent to a server?
No. Loading, cropping and creating the PNG or PDF all happen in your browser, and saved files have their metadata (date taken, location and so on) removed.
The printed size is wrong.
Choose “Actual size” or “100%” in the print dialog and turn off “Fit to page”. The PDF uses the real paper size and the PNG is made at 300 dpi.
My country is not listed.
We only list specifications confirmed on official sources. For other countries, check the size on the official website of the authority you apply to.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- Eight specifications are included. The tool uses only the size and head height confirmed on each government’s official page on 2026-11-06, and rules can change.
- There is no automatic face detection; align the top of the head and the chin with the guides yourself.
- A low-resolution source photo is enlarged in the output and may look blurry.
- Photos the browser cannot open, such as HEIC on some browsers, cannot be used.
