FAQ
Does it just rename the extension?
No. Each image is decoded and genuinely re-encoded in the new format, so any app can open the result.
Why can’t I use WebP?
Some browsers, such as older Safari, cannot save WebP. You will see a notice and can choose JPEG or PNG instead.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- Only formats your browser can open are supported (HEIC/HEIF is not).
- Animated GIFs keep only the first frame.
- Converting to JPEG fills transparency with the chosen background color. Metadata such as EXIF is not kept.
