FAQ
Do the QR codes expire?
No. The content is encoded directly; there is no redirect or tracking URL in between.
Can I use non-English text or emoji?
Yes. Content is stored as UTF-8, which common phone cameras read correctly.
Which error correction level should I use?
M is fine for most uses. For printed codes that may get dirty or damaged, choose Q or H; higher levels make denser codes.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- Capacity is limited (about 2,900 bytes of ASCII; roughly a third of that for CJK text).
- If you change colors, keep the code clearly darker than the background.
