Result

Result
0 °C = 32 °F = 273.15 K
Celsius (°C)
0 °C
Fahrenheit (°F)
32 °F
Kelvin (K)
273.15 K

"≈" marks a value rounded to the chosen decimal places.

Formulas

  • °F = °C × 9/5 + 32
  • K = °C + 273.15
  • °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9
  • Absolute zero: 0 K = −273.15 °C = −459.67 °F

How to use

  1. Type a temperature in the Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin box.
  2. The other two units are calculated automatically. Choose the number of decimal places if needed.
  3. Use "Copy" to copy all three values at once.

FAQ

What is 0 °C in Fahrenheit?

32 °F (273.15 K). The formula is °F = °C × 9/5 + 32.

How do I convert a temperature difference?

Differences do not include the zero-point offset: a change of 1 °C equals a change of 1 K or 1.8 °F. This tool converts temperatures (thermometer readings), not differences.

Why is −274 °C rejected?

Nothing can be colder than absolute zero (0 K = −273.15 °C = −459.67 °F). Fahrenheit and kelvin values below that point are rejected as well.

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • Conversions use the defining formulas (K = °C + 273.15, °F = °C × 9/5 + 32) and are exact. Only values that do not divide evenly are rounded to the chosen decimals and marked with "≈".
  • The tool converts temperatures, not temperature differences.
  • Other scales such as Rankine or Réaumur are not included.
  • Values with a magnitude above 10¹² cannot be entered.
