Remove the password and usage restrictions from your own PDF using the correct password you know. Nothing is cracked or bypassed, and the unlocked file is checked with a separate PDF reader.

This tool does not crack passwords (no guessing or brute force) and does not bypass protection. It only removes protection from your own PDFs, or PDFs you are allowed to unlock, using the correct password you know. It cannot help without the password.

FAQ
Can it open a PDF whose password I forgot?
No. This tool never guesses, brute-forces or bypasses passwords. It only works when you know the correct password.
I know the open password — why can't I remove the restrictions?
Printing and copying restrictions were set by the author with a permissions password. Lifting them with the open password alone would bypass that protection, so the permissions password is required.
Is my password sent anywhere?
No. The password and the PDF are used only inside this browser and are never uploaded or saved.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- You need the correct password. There is no password recovery, guessing or bypassing.
- PDFs with usage restrictions can only be unlocked with the permissions password.
- PDFs protected with certificates (public keys) or custom security are not supported.
- Unlocking a digitally signed PDF invalidates its signatures.
- Anyone can open the unlocked PDF, so handle it with care.
