How to use
- Pick the departure date, time and the time zone you depart from.
- Optionally add a trip name and destination; they appear in the result and the share image.
- The time left updates live. Use "Download image (PNG)" to save a picture you can share.
FAQ
How is "days to go" counted?
It is the difference between today and the departure date in the departure time zone. The evening before, it says "Departure is tomorrow" even if less than 24 hours are left. The days, hours, minutes and seconds show the exact time until the departure time.
Is my trip saved?
It is stored only in this browser on this device (IndexedDB), so it is still there next time. Nothing is sent to a server. Use "Delete saved data" to remove it at any time.
Where is the share image created?
It is drawn on a canvas in your browser and saved as a PNG file. Neither the image nor your entries are uploaded.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- The countdown assumes your device clock is correct.
- The departure time is used as entered; flight delays or schedule changes are not reflected.
- A time skipped by daylight saving time is counted from the time after the clocks jump forward.
