FAQ

Is my image uploaded?

No. Drawing the text and saving the file happen in your browser; the image never leaves your device.

What is the glyph style (language) setting?

Many Chinese characters have slightly different standard shapes in Japan, Taiwan and Mainland China. The fonts of the chosen language are used first, so the shapes match your text.

Can I add my own fonts?

No. Text is drawn with the fonts installed on your device; characters missing from one font are filled in from another.

Does the saved image keep location data?

No. Saved images contain no metadata such as EXIF or location data.

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • Text is drawn with the fonts on your device, so glyph shapes, weight and width can differ slightly between devices and browsers.
  • Vertical text and styling individual characters (for example, coloring one word) are not supported.
  • JPEG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white, and saving as JPEG slightly lowers quality.
  • Images above the browser limit (about 16 million pixels) are scaled down when loaded.
  • Formats the browser cannot open, such as HEIC/HEIF, are not supported.
