FAQ

How many hours is a month when converting a monthly salary to hourly pay?

By default 8 h × 5 days × 52 weeks = 2,080 h a year, i.e. 173.33 h a month on average. With "working days per month" it is, for example, 8 h × 21 days = 168 h. You can change every number.

Does it show take-home pay?

No. Tax, social insurance, overtime, bonuses and allowances differ widely between countries and employers, so the tool only converts gross amounts.

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • Gross amounts only: take-home pay, overtime premiums, bonuses, allowances and paid leave are not calculated.
  • If a law or your employer defines the conversion (for example a fixed number of hours per month), enter those numbers as the assumptions. The tool does not assume any country's rules.
  • Each amount is rounded to the smallest currency unit for display.
