FAQ
What are Cornell notes?
A note-taking method developed by Cornell education professor Walter Pauk. You write class notes on the right, keywords and questions on the left and a summary at the bottom, then review by recalling the notes from the left column.
Where are my notes stored?
Only in this browser on this device (IndexedDB). They are not sent to any server and are not shared with other devices or browsers.
Can I print an empty template to write by hand?
Yes. Tick “Print blank” before printing to print only the empty layout.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- PDFs are made with the browser’s print function; paper size, margins and page breaks depend on the browser and print settings.
- Notes are stored only in this browser. Clearing browser data deletes them, so export important notes.
- Images, formulas and tables cannot be inserted (text only).
