How to use

  1. Add questions and answers. You can also import your flashcards from the Flashcard Maker or a CSV file.
  2. Press "Start review": the cards that are due are shown one at a time in random order.
  3. Try to remember the answer, press "Show answer" and choose Again, Normal or Easy.
  4. Your choice sets the next review (Again: later in the same review; Normal and Easy: 1 to 30 days). Progress is saved automatically.

FAQ

How is the next review time decided?

Each card has a level from 0 to 5. Normal raises it by 1, Easy by 2, and Again resets it to 0. The next review is after 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days depending on the level. A card rated Again comes back in the same review after up to 3 other cards.

Is this the same as SuperMemo, Anki or another well-known algorithm?

No. It is a simple rule of this tool based on the general idea of spaced repetition (longer gaps for cards you know well). It does not reproduce any specific algorithm and does not guarantee that you will remember anything.

Where is my data stored?

Questions, answers and progress are stored only in this browser on this device (IndexedDB); nothing is sent to a server. To use them on another device, save a JSON backup and restore it there.
