Percentages are rounded with the largest remainder method, so they add up to exactly 100%. Because of how the leftover is shared, options with equal votes can differ by one last digit.

FAQ
Can I collect votes with this tool?
No. There is no voting form or counting. Enter counts from paper ballots, a show of hands or another survey to turn them into percentages and a chart.
Why don’t the percentages add up to 100%?
Rounding each option on its own can give 99.9% or 100.1%. Choose "Adjust so the total is exactly 100%" to share the leftover with the largest remainder method, which always totals 100%.
How are percentages calculated?
Votes ÷ total votes × 100, computed exactly with integer arithmetic and rounded to the chosen decimal places, so no floating-point error creeps in.
Notes & limitations
- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- 2–30 options, names up to 60 characters, vote counts are whole numbers from 0 to 1 billion.
- Invalid or blank votes are not handled separately; add them as an option if you want to show them.
- Nothing is saved. Copy the results or download a file before closing the page.
- No statistical significance or margin of error is calculated.
