FAQ

Does the tool know the fares and pass prices?

No. To avoid showing prices without a source, every fare and pass price is typed in by you. Check the transit operator's official site for current prices.

How is the number of rides to pay off calculated?

The cost of the pass (price × number of passes) is divided by the single fare and rounded up. From that number of rides on, the pass is cheaper than paying per ride (if it divides exactly, both cost the same at that number).

What if fares differ between trips?

Enter the average fare for a rough comparison. For an exact one, add up the fares of the trips you plan and divide by the number of rides.
