Timetable Formatter (Sort and Filter CSV/TSV Times)

Paste timetable CSV or TSV data to read the time column, sort departures, keep a time window and export the result as CSV. Handles after-midnight times such as 24:10 and lists unreadable rows by line number.

  • Runs in your browser (no upload)
Paste timetable data you copied yourself, for example from the operator's official site. This tool does not fetch timetables; it only tidies up what you paste (nothing leaves your browser). The data shown first is a made-up sample.

Tab-separated data copied from Excel or a spreadsheet works too. Times are read as 7:40, 07:40, 24:10 or 7:40:30.

Use it to list trips just after midnight at the end of the previous day. Times written as 24:10 always count as the next day.

For example 07:00 to 09:00. Leave blank for no limit. Both ends are included.

How to use

  1. Paste your timetable data (CSV, or tab-separated data copied from a spreadsheet).
  2. If needed, choose the delimiter, whether there is a header row, the time column and the day boundary (the time column is detected automatically).
  3. Choose the sort order and a time window, check the result and download or copy it as CSV.

FAQ

Can it read times like 24:10 or 25:05?

Yes. Timetables use them for trips after midnight, so times up to 47:59 are treated as the next day and sorted after 23:30. You can also show them on a 0–23 hour clock, such as 00:10.

Trips at 0:20 end up at the top. What can I do?

Set the "Day boundary" to 3:00, for example. Earlier times then count as the next day and are listed at the end. The time window uses the same rule.

Is the exported CSV safe to open in Excel?

Cells starting with =, +, -, @ and similar get a leading ' so they are never run as formulas, and the file is saved as UTF-8 with a BOM so characters display correctly.

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • This tool does not fetch timetables. Check exact times with the operator's official information.
  • Times are only read as hours:minutes or hours:minutes:seconds (formats such as "7h40" are not read).
  • Up to 1,000,000 characters can be pasted. The page shows the first 200 rows; the CSV contains every row.
