Weighted score = cost per person + travel time (hours) × value of time 10.00. The lower it is, the less the trip costs in time and money combined.
How to use
- Enter the number of people and, if you like, your value of time (what one hour is worth to you).
- For each option, enter a name, the travel time, the fare per person and other costs (tick the box to split group costs between everyone).
- Choose how to sort, then check the fastest, cheapest and best weighted options, the charts and the table, and copy or download them as CSV.
FAQ
What does the weighted order mean?
Options are sorted by cost per person plus travel time (hours) × your value of time. With a value of 0 only cost counts; the higher it is, the more speed matters.
How do I enter costs paid by the whole group, like a rental car?
Put the full amount under "Other costs" and tick "Other costs are for everyone". The amount is divided by the number of people for the per-person comparison.
Are fares and travel times filled in automatically?
No. To avoid showing prices without a source, everything is typed in by you. Check current schedules and fares with each operator's official information. The values filled in first are examples.

- What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
- An estimate from the values you enter only — not official fares or current schedules. Crowding, delays, the effort of transfers and comfort are not considered.
- Group costs are split evenly. For child fares or discounts, enter the actual amounts.
- Charts follow the chosen sort order; equal values keep the order you entered them in.
