How to use

  1. Choose the time zones of the departure and arrival airports (for example New York and London).
  2. Enter the scheduled date and time and the actual time in local time for each. Fill in the actual date only when it differs from the scheduled one, for example after midnight.
  3. See the departure and arrival delay (or early arrival) in minutes and the scheduled versus actual flight time. You can copy the result.

FAQ

Does it work on days when daylight saving time changes?

Yes. Every local time is converted to an exact instant with the browser’s time-zone data before subtracting. On the day DST starts in New York, 01:30 → 03:15 is 45 minutes. A time skipped by the change is reported as an error, and for a time that occurs twice you can pick which one.

Is this the same as the airline’s on-time rating?

No. The tool only shows the difference between the times you enter, in minutes. What counts as on time, and whether compensation applies, depends on the airline and the rules where you fly.

Notes & limitations

  • What you enter is processed only on this page and is not sent to YUCTS servers.
  • No flight status is fetched. Enter the scheduled and actual times yourself.
  • It does not decide whether you are entitled to compensation or a refund. Check with the airline and the applicable rules.
